I left my DSLR camera over at my inlaws, but no worries, I took pictures today with my regular digital camera. But I am lacking a few days of practice without my good camera! Gotta get it back tomorrow!
So here's what's happening today. Noah has been running a fever since Friday. It has gotten as high as 103.7. We freaked to say the least. I really was trying to avoid the emergency room though b/c I've heard what they can do when you take infants there. Needless to say, we went to the doctor on Saturday morning. They said his fevers have just been too high to be caused only by his teeth. After a lot of "torture" being tested for the flu, strep, urinary tract infection and an ear infection, we came out with a vague diagnosis. Noah may have Roseola. They are not 100% sure b/c he doesn't have the rash "yet". But the fevers are the start and they said his throat was red which isn't being caused by congestion or a cough. We were to watch the fever this weekend and bring him back in if they continued to come back after Tylenol was wearing off. So far, that's the case so I will be making an appointment for tomorrow possibly to get his blood tested. He is one cranky buggy when he's sick, but top that off with confinement to the house and we're ALL going bonkers right now. So... here are my pictures from today. As my post title suggests, it's the middle of November in Northern VA and the temps here were Spring-like. Amazing weather, too amazing to keep a little boy inside.
Fresh from his nap
His hair NEVER looks like this, so I couldn't resist capturing it on film
This is how sick little boys get to eat their lunch...on Daddy's lap watching TV
The sick little one got to go for a stroll in the neighborhood
Mommy and Noah insisted we stop to play on the playground too
We had to tell Daddy, you can't walk by the playground and not play on it...that's silly!
