24 weeks

So we did our best to keep the gender a secret, but most of you now know that we are having a baby BOY!!! It was just too hard to keep to ourselves. We love sharing good news. The name however will still be a secret. I've said to many that my reasoning for this is that I change my mind so often with the names. We really really love the name we picked, and I'm afraid that the first negative thing I hear about it will send me to the baby name book. Therefore, I need this name printed on a birth certificate before letting anyone know what it is.

To update everyone on what's been happening lately, we got to see baby boy in three different ultrasounds. I know this sounds pretty cool, but it was also a little frustrating because we were being called back for another ultrasound each time due to the doctor not being able to see something on baby. Being the mother, this made me worry something was going wrong with the bean. I haven't had a call since our last appointment, so I'm hopeful that everything is going smoothly now.

Chris and I haven't done much in buying things for the baby yet. We feel a little anxious, but also don't want to buy too much before the shower in March. We did however want to do something special for each other, and went to the store to buy each other a baby outfit. The outfit I picked for Chris is a navy blue footed onesie that has a baseball on it and says "Daddy, is it game time yet?" So appropriate :) The outfit Chris choose for me is an ensemble of a onesie, jacket, and pants with puppies on it and the onesie says "My little pup". Also very appropriate! This was a lot of fun and we are so excited to see baby when he comes.

A little about me - I'm still pretty sick every day. I keep telling Chris how I can't wait for this pregnancy to be over so I can return to being myself again! It seems like every food and every drink upsets my stomach lately. I'm questioning whether the doctors are right and putting me at 24 weeks right now. Ha! Ha! I constantly feel like I'm going to pop everyday, so how can I still have about 4 months to go!?!?

I will try to post some ultrasound pics later. We just got a new printer/scanner and it should be hooked up by the end of this week.
