Happy Holidays everyone!! Chris and I went to the doctor on December 4th and got to hear the baby's heartbeat with the Doppler. The little stinker was hiding, so it took a while to find him/her. What a relief it was to hear though, considering we couldn't hear the heartbeat at 11 weeks and haven't been checked since then! We are confident now that little Slurpee is doing fine :)
Our next appointment will be at 19 weeks on December 29th. Our next sonogram will be on a different day because we requested to have it before the New Year and they couldn't fit us in on the same day as our appointment. So we will see Slurpee again on December 26th!! We can't wait! Look for an update after the New Year and a new picture.
Just a little update on me: I know this post was supposed to be dedicated to my dreams, however none of the dreams I'm having seem pregnancy worthy...they are just regular dreams I'd have on any normal day. My nausea has finally subsided. I only really get sick now if I don't eat for a long while or have a lot of tomato-based foods in one day. My feet and ankles are a little swollen, which the doctors are watching because they said that shouldn't happen until the third trimester. I watch my sodium intake, so Chris and I believe I'm swollen from all the shopping I've done lately. Gotta prop my feet up more :)
Lastly, we have come to a decision on names for a boy and a girl. Of course we still aren't spilling the names to anyone and we still don't want to find out the gender. Isn't all this suspense wonderful?? Ha! Ha!
